GRAMMY AWARDS  Brandy and Monica’s historic duet, “THE BOY IS MINE” won the Grammy Award for “Best R&B Collaboration with Vocals” at the 40th Annual Grammy Awards telecast.

HUMANITARIAN/OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS The Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Arts & Sciences gave Brandy it’s highest honor in 2000.THE GOVERNORS AWARD pays tribute to long-standing members of the oldest chapter in the RecordingAcademy whose creative accomplishments have crossed musical boundaries.

C.O.R.E., (CONGRESS OF RACIAL EQUALITY)  Brandy was recognized with the Martin Luther King Jr. award for her outstanding achievements as a role model for youth. The 21st Century Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Holiday Reception from the Congress of Racial Equality took place in January of 2000.

SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE ‘VOLUNTEERISM AWARD’  In 2001, Brandy was bestowed with the MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from the Stellar Gospel Music Awards for her work with The Norwood Kids Foundation.

In 1993, Brandy received “The Darling Award” from THE BROTHERHOOD CRUSADE, a non-profit organization for supporting causes relating to the education and success of American Black Men. Brandy serenaded Arsenio Hall with a rendition of “The Greatest Love Of All,” as THE BROTHERHOOD CRUSADE honored him in 1994.
